On October 14, an active cadre of Kanglei Yawol Kanna Lup (KYKL) identified as Karam Satrajit (45), was arrested by Manipur Police from Imphal West District of Manipur, reports Northeast Now. The Police recovered one 9mm pistol with one magazine loaded with seven live rounds, one mobile phone and INR 60,000 (suspected extortion money) from Satrajit’s possession. During interrogation, Satrajitconfessed to serving demand letters to numerous businessmen and also admitted to collecting funds from private establishments and the general public for the outfit.
