A self-styled ‘area commander’ of the Tritiya Prastuti Committee (TPC), a splinter group of the Communist Party of India-Maoist (CPI-Maoist), identified as Maheswar Ram (34), was arrested from his home in Bhawanrdah village under Hariharganj Police Station limits in Palamu District of Jharkhand on October 16, reports The Print. A pistol, live cartridges, and a diary were recovered from the possession of Maheswar.
