Police check post under Hathala Police Station in Dera Ismail Khan District of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa came under attack for the second consecutive day when unidentified militants lobbed hand grenades and fired rockets at the post on October 9, reports The Khorasan Diary. Militants fled following Police retaliation. Earlier the day on October 8, more than 30 militants attacked the same Police post leaving one Police constable killed and three other Policemen injured.
