On October 9, Abdul Karim, a Taliban official serving as a manager in the Taliban's law enforcement and crime prevention department, was ambushed and killed by an unidentified group of gunmen in the village of Yaka-Pata in Qorghan District of Faryab Province, Hasht-e Subh Daily.
