On 22 September 2023, the Ukrainian air force conducted strikes on the headquarters of the Russian Black Sea Fleet in Sevastopol, Crimea with Storm Shadow cruise missiles. The strike was coordinated with the help of the Atesh partisan group. According to Ukrainian government sources, the strike killed 34 Russian officers and wounded around 105.
