One unidentified assailant was killed in retaliatory fire by Policemen on September 24 when a group of assailants opened fire at the Policemen in Shams Colony I-12 of Islamabad after being asked to stop their vehicle, reports ARY News. The Islamabad Police spokesperson said that unidentified assailants opened fire at a Police team when they tried to stop a suspicious vehicle. One of the assailants was killed in retaliatory fire while three of his accomplice fled from the scene after leaving behind the vehicle. Police seized the vehicle and recovered an AK-47 rifle and a pistol.
