On September 20, a large cache of arms and ammunition were seized during a cordon and search operation carried out at adjacent Villages of Sangaithel and Longa Koireng Villages near hills slope under Patsoi Police Station in Imphal West District of Manipur, reports Imphal Free Press. During the search operation, the team seized the firearms which included two locally made GI pipe pumpi guns connected with wires, one single barrel gun, fifty 12 bores live cartridges, four mortar shells and electrical wires.
