On 19 September 2023, in Maw Tone (West) village (Tanintharyi township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the Myanmar military No.306 artillery unit based in Za Wea village fired over 10 artillery rounds into the village at around 8 pm. Casualties unknown.
