On 20 September 2023, in Ting Long village tract (coded as Ting Long (East)) (Muse township, Muse district, Shan-North state), at least three artillery shells fired by an unidentified armed group landed on a Loi prayer mountain in Kyan Hsar village at around 11 am. A 70-year-old abbot sustained injuries in the head and legs, and some monastery buildings were damaged.
