On 20 September 2023, in Dawei town (Dawei township, Dawei district, Tanintharyi region), a combined force of the Dawei Guerrilla Revolution Force and the Oak Awe Column (Dawei) attacked the housing complex of military generals, which is located near the military's No.12 100-bed hospital in Eain Shey Pyin ward, with twelve 40mm bombs at around 5:15 am. Three military troops were killed.
