Around 17 September 2023 (as reported), two unknown tribal militants targeted a civilian residence with a hand grenade in the Camp Sarah area of Baghdad - Karadah. The attack was motivated by the victim's failure to comply with the rulings of a tribal court. The attackers were arrested on 17 September in Ninewa province after a special group was formed in cooperation with Ninewa intelligence authorities. There were no casualties.
