Projectile event in Martuni, Azerbaijan on Tue 19th September 2023

On 19 September 2023, Azerbaijani forces shelled the combat positions, long-term firing points, combat vehicles and military objects of the Artsakh forces in the direction of Karmir Shuka, Martuni region. Casualties unknown. As of 22 September 2023, Artsakh forces announced 200 fatalities, Azerbaijani forces announced 80 fatalities. Fatalities were not disaggregated according to locations or date. 6 out of 280 fatalities were coded to specific events. The other 274 fatalities are split across 38 events (8 fatalities coded to 8 events, 7 fatalities coded to 30 events).
