On 17 September 2023, NRF fighters launched a rocket attack at a Taliban outpost in Tang-e Warsaj village of Dasht-e Robat area of Warsaj district (area very close to the Warsaj-Farhar border), Takhar, killing two Taliban members and wounding three others.
