Militants blew up a gas well in the Pirkoh gas field area of Dera Bugti District on September 14, suspending supply to various localities of the District, reports Dawn. Officials said unknown militants planted explosives at the well No 41, which went off, causing fire in the well and suspending supply to a vast area. “The gas well was badly damaged due to the blast,” officials of Oil and Gas Development Company said, adding that rearing work started in the well will be completed soon and supply would be restored accordingly.
