On 10 September 2023, SAF air-raids targeted civilians in Goro market and block 14 in Mayo neighborhood in Khartoum - Al Azhari (Khartoum, Khartoum). At least 43 were killed (with some reports mentioning 47) and 60 were wounded. SAF denied targeting civilians and stated they are only targeting RSF as a legitimate target based on international law.
