On 13 September 2023, in Wa Thon Da Ra village of Madaya township (Pyinoolwin district, Mandalay region), the People's Defense Force - Madaya carried out a mine attack against about 10 Myanmar military troops and Pyu Saw Htee members patrolling on Mandalay-Madaya road at around 9 pm. Casualties unknown.
