On 12 September 2023, near Shwe Let Pan village of Mohnyin township (Mohnyin district, Kachin state), joint forces of the Kachin Independence Army (KIA) and IDG PDF: Indawgyi People Defence Force carried out a mine attack against about 70 Myanmar military troops near the village. Casualties unknown.
