On 9 September 2023, the head of Gonder Fano public relations claimed that ENDF shelled civilians' houses in Feter and its surrounding areas, Central Gonder zone (location not found, coded at the administrative center of the zone, Gonder town, Central Gondar, Amhara), assuming that Fano militias were hiding in this area. But according to him, there were no Fano militias in this area. Casualties unknown.
