Quito's downtown area was reportedly hit by a series of blasts, suspected to be a car bombing. Dozens of people were injured in what appears to be a major attack in Ecuador's capital. The area near the Presidential Palace was hit hard, causing panic and confusion. Several cars and buildings were damaged in the explosions. Authorities are investigating the incident in their bid to bring the perpetrators to justice.
