On September 8, two Policemen were injured when Jamaat-e-Islami and Islami Chhatra Shibir (JeI-ICS) activists lobbed at least three crude bombs at the Policemen during a protest rally in the Jatrabari area of Dhaka (Dhaka Division), reports The Daily Star. Officer-in-Charge (OIC) of Jatrabari Police Station, Mofizul Alam, confirmed the incident and said 46 JeI-ICS activists were detained as they were holding a protest rally without permission from authorities.
