On 4 September 2023, YPG fighters shelled Qabasin town in Aleppo province. At the same time, a shell from regime fighters shelling of the outskirts of Birshaya and Kandarliyeh fell near Tribal and Clan Forces-affiliated tents in the outskirts of Qabasin, injuring several including civilians and leading to displacement. There were no fatalities.
