On 2 September 2023, in Ban Law village (Tanintharyi township, Myeik district, Tanintharyi region), the military artillery unit No.306 fired artillery rounds into nearby villages after local defense forces attacked military troops in Tanintharyi town (coded separately). Some artillery shells landed in the village, damaging a house. Casualties unknown.
