On 5 September 2023, in Monywa town (Monywa township, Monywa district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Brother Defense Force, One Star Task Force and the Dark Guerrilla Force attacked military soldiers, who were holding a computer training school opening ceremony in Shwe Taung U ward with 3 rockets between 1:45 pm to 2:20 pm. Casualties unknown.
