On 6 September 2023, in Shwegu town (Shwegu township, Bhamo district, Kachin state), the Myohla KPDF attacked the No.4 ward administration office with a total of eight drone bombs two times starting from around 11:05 am. Kachin News Group reported that 10 staff were killed and another 10 staff and a local were injured. Another source, DVB reported that a local woman and about 10 staff were injured. Khit Thit Media and Irrawaddy reported that 2 staff were killed and 9 staff were injured. Fatalities coded as 2 for the most up-to-date estimates.
