On 2 September 2023, Armenian forces fired with 60 and 82 mm mortars at Azerbaijani positions located in front of the Armenian positions near Sotk, Gegharkunik region (coded to Damirchidam, Shahumyan region). The Ministry of Defense of Armenia refuted this report. No casualties.
