Rocket event in Balochistan, Mand area of Kech District area, Pakistan on Fri 1st September 2023

Three civilians, including two women, were injured in the Mand area of Kech District on September 1-night after a rocket struck a residential property, reports The Balochistan Post. The source of the rocket attack remains unidentified. Earlier that night, unidentified assailants reportedly targeted a Security Forces (SFs) camp in the area with rockets. People living in the proximity reported hearing loud explosions, which were shortly followed by gunfire. The SFs reportedly responded to the attack. Local said that the rocket that hit the home might have been part of the SFs’ retaliation after the attack on their camp.
