Excavation team found nearly 50 unexploded ordnance surprising residents on the afternoon of September 3, 2023 in Battambang city, Battambang province. The police confirmed that the discovery was made while the excavation team to install the drainage system was on site for two consecutive days. A total of 49 unexploded ordnance were recovered, including one 122mm rocket, one 130 warhead, two DK 75 warheads,190 other warheads and 43 pieces of 105mm warheads. Authorities said that after discovering them, the local police cooperated with CMAC officers to inspect and collect them for later destruction. Rasmei News
