On 21 August 2023, Israeli fighters targeted regime, Hezbollah and pro-Iranian militia positions including warehouses and military sites in Kisweh and its vicinity, in addition to targeting Iranian IRGC members in Damascus - International Airport, both in rural Damascus with missiles, killing two regime members, and leaving the airport out of service. 2 fatalities split as follows: 1 Kisweh, 1 Damascus - International Airport. 1 fatality.
