On 1 September 2023, unidentified Palestinian militants threw explosives toward the Israeli security fence on border, east of Gaza City (Gaza Strip) and dozens of Palestinian rioters threw stones and set fire to rubber tires during a demonstration against the Israeli measures in the West Bank and Gaza Strip. Soldiers fired live bullets and tear gas, injuring 9 Palestinians by live bullets. Also, dozens of Palestinians suffered from tear gas inhalation. There were no casualties among soldiers.
