On 29 August 2023, near Kyar Khe village (Tilin township, Gangaw district, Magway region), the Yaw Revolution Army - Tilin attacked the Myanmar military column of around 80 soldiers from the 77th division based in Tilin town with five cluster mines around 9:15 am. Four military soldiers and a 40-years-old civilian from Kyar Khe village who was abducted by the military as a guide were killed and six were injured.
