On 29 August 2023, in Natmauk town (Natmauk township, Magway district, Magway region), the Oppressed People's Revolutionary Force attacked the four police by throwing an IED at the township election commission office at 5 pm. The Police Second Lieutenant was severely injured and Police Lance Corporal got a minor injury. They were sent to the Natmauk hospital to receive treatment.
