On 28 August 2023, in Nyaunglebin township (Bago district, Bago-East region), the Myanmar military IB-264 fired 120 mm artillery shells two times toward Chon Inn village at 5 am. Separately at 9 am, the military fired 120 mm shells 3 times toward Wet Che, Yae Twin Kone and Kyaung Kone villages. Casualties unknown.
