On 26 August 2023, in Nat Pay village (Kanbalu township, Kanbalu district, Sagaing region), a combined force of the Kanbalu Underground Warriors, Myanmar Paladin Force U-18, and the local resistance ground forces attacked the military and the Pyu Saw Htee with ten 81 mm artillery rounds at noon. Shwe Phee Myay News Agency reported that there were 2 fatalities on the military and Pyu Saw Htee side split across four events (Nat Pay, Yaw, Ngar Toet and Lel Hla villages), coded as 1 in this event.
