On 24 August 2023, in Budalin town of Budalin township (Monywa district, Sagaing region), joint forces of Budalin Ninja, People's Defense Force - Monywa District Battalion-16, Ta Pin Shwe Htee (Long Hair) Joint Forces, The Sole Swallow Force, Anonymous Hero Guerrilla Force, and Budalin Ninja carried out drone strikes on Budalin Township Administration Office and OSS office at around 4 pm. The drone strikes killed five military soldiers. Khit Thit Media reported that one soldier was also seriously injured.
