Mine event in Magway, Pakokku area, Myanmar on Tue 22nd August 2023

On 22 August 2023, between Kamma and Pakokku townships (coded as Pakokku) (Pakokku district, Magway region), a combined force of the Black Cobra Force Pakokku, the Pakokku PDF, the Myaing PDF (PaKaPha) battalion 1, the Dar Min Gyi Group and TR: THU RAIN attacked a Myanmar military convoy of about 10 vehicles with 15 bombs attached to drones at around 8 am. One of the vehicles was damaged. The combined force then carried out mine attacks and drone strikes using fifteen grenades against the Myanmar military troops, police forces, and Pyu Saw Htee coming out from Kamma town with two vehicles to clear route. A military soldier, a police force, two members of Pyu Saw Htee died in the attack. Three military soldiers, two police forces, and three Pyu Saw Htee members were severely injured.
