On 22 August 2023, near Kan Su Ywar Ma village of Nattalin township (Thayarwady district, Bago-West region), joint forces of the PDF - Thayarwady District Battalion-3801 (Unit-2) and Phoenix Defense Force (Nattalin) carried out six Myanmar police forces patrolling with three motorbikes at around 10:20 pm. Two police forces died and a local woman who accompanied the police forces was injured. Two motorbikes were also destroyed by the mine explosion.
