Around 21 August 2023 (as reported), in Gway Kone village (Shwebo township, Shwebo district, Sagaing region), the Myanmar military attacked the Black Wolf PDF with landmines planted when they left the village. Two landmines exploded when Black Wolf PDF members entered the village to secure the area and motorcycles were damaged. There were no casualties. The members of Black Wolf PDF also defused one unexploded landmine.
