On 16 August 2023, between Ohn Taw (North) and Kyauk Se villages of Sagaing township (Sagaing district, Sagaing region), joint forces of The Pentagram (Five Stars), Anyar Brothers Coalition Force, and Phoenix SGG carried out a mine attack against the Myanmar 11 military's convoy vehicles at around 9:30 am. The mine attack hit one vehicle. Democratic Voice of Burma reported that three military soldiers died and one soldier was injured.
