On 15 August 2023, in Shwebo town of Shwebo township (Shwebo district, Sagaing region), joint forces of Black Wolf PDF and Who Am I People's Defense Force carried out drone strikes against the Myanmar military troops advancing toward the town at around 3:18 pm. One military soldier died in the drone strikes. The combined force then attacked another 50 military reinforcements, who came to help their troops at the town entrance, with drone bombs.
