On 14 August 2023, between Ahr Lar Kat Pa and Wan Pyayt villages (coded as Wan Pyayt) (Myinmu township, Sagaing district, Sagaing region), the Black Eagle Defense Force-MMU carried out mine attacks against a Myanmar military convoy of four vehicles including a tanker truck at around 10:30 pm. The third and fourth vehicles were hit by mines. The group then carried out mine attacks against a Myanmar military convoy of 16 vehicles traveling from Sagaing to Monywa at around 4:35 pm. The 12th vehicle was hit by mines. The group then carried out another mine attack against the convoy with four mines, and the 11th vehicle was hit by mines. Casualties unknown.
