On 14 August 2023, in Inn Ga Pa Leik village of Shwegyin township (Bago district, Bago-East region), three rounds of heavy artillery shells fired by the Myanmar military troops landed inside a school compound in the village at around 1:30 pm. The shelling injured a female school teacher and two students.
