On 27 August 2023, in Tulua (Valle del Cauca), four individuals on motorcycles threw a grenade at the house of the parent of a mayoral candidate for the Conservative Party who had also been mayor of the municipality in the past. Nobody was injured in the attack and there was material damage. The candidate had received threats in the past from the Oficina de Tulua gang. The gang took responsibility for the attack in a statement posted on social media. There were no casualties.
