On 27 August 2023, in Santiago de Cali - Comuna 8 (Valle del Cauca), an unidentified individual threw a grenade at a gas station in the Primitivo Crespo neighborhood. Nobody was injured in the clash but material damage was caused. The perpetrators left a pamphlet signed by the Jaime Martinez FARC dissident group. Authorities are investigating if the attack was related to extortion. There were no casualties.
