On 11 August 2023, near Moe Kan village (coded as Moe Kan (East) (Natogyi township, Myingyan district, Mandalay region), the military reported that a PDF carried out mine attacks against security forces (assumed to be military troops and police) on the Natogyi-Myingyan road at around 10 am as the military transported the bodies of four people including a village administrator who were killed in Min village. Some members of security forces sustained injuries.
