On 10 August 2023, in Kani town (Kani township, Yinmarbin district, Sagaing region), the combined troops of the People's Defense Force - Yinmarbin district battalion 21,22,23, Kani People's Defense Force and Union Liberation Front attacked the Kani Police Station where the military stationed with four bombs attached to two drones at 8 am. The military responded with an anti-drone jammer and the combined troops lost two drones. Casualties unknown.
