Army warplanes bombed targets in the city of Nyala, on Sunday and Monday, for the first time since the outbreak of war, while the Rapid Support Forces accused the army of killing 14 civilians and wounding others during the aerial bombardment.

Citizens of the city told Radio Dabanga that the bombing targeted the airport neighborhoods, factories, and parts of the High Dam neighborhood, with air strikes carried out by military aircraft. They pointed to the continued interruption of the communications network and the Internet, except for text messages from the MTN network.

They confirmed the continued mass exodus of citizens towards the city of Al Daein and the state’s localities in the north and south.
