A number of soldiers were killed in an attack launched by the forces of the Popular Movement (Al-Hilu Command) on the city of Dalami in South Kordofan State, on Wednesday.

Radio Dabanga sources reported that SPLM forces stationed in the Kadbar area (7) kilometers east of the city of Dalami carried out an attack on army positions in Dalami on Wednesday morning, using military vehicles, while the army repelled the attack.

The sources explained that the attack led to the death and injury of a number of soldiers from both sides.

On the other hand, Armed Forces spokesman, Brigadier General Nabil Abdullah, announced that the Armed Forces were able to launch an attack launched by the Popular Movement on the Blue Nile military region.
