Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine During the day, the Russian army carried out 4 missile and 37 aviation strikes, conducted 27 shelling attacks with multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and residential areas. Unfortunately, due to the Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings and other civilian infrastructure have suffered damages. The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. Within the day, 24 clashes took place. In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 20 populated areas, including Klyusy, Yeline, Turya in the Chernihiv region; Rozhkovychi, Iskryskivshchyna, Ugroidy in the Sumy region, and Ohirtseve, Hatyshche, Vovchansk, Pokalyane in the Kharkiv region. They delivered aviation strikes in the areas of Novokalynove and Avdiivka, Donetsk region. More than 10 populated areas were affected by artillery shelling, including Oleksandropil, Keramik, Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Siverne, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region. In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to repel the Russian troops’ advance in the areas of Marinka and Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted aviation strikes in the area of Krasnohorivka, Donetsk region. Over 10 populated areas suffered from artillery shelling, including Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobieda, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, and Katerynivka in the Donetsk region. In the Shakhtarsk direction, the Russian army made unsuccessful attempts to regain lost positions in the Urozhaine area, Donetsk region. More than 10 populated areas were affected by artillery shelling, including Vodianne, Bohoyavlenka, Vuhledar, Prechystivka, Velyka Novosilka, and Blahodatne in the Donetsk region. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army delivered aviation strikes in the area of Robotyne, Zaporizhzhia region. Over 20 populated areas were affected by Russian artillery shelling, including Bilohiria, Novodanylivka, Novoandrivka, Shcherbaky, Novoyakovlivka, and Stepove in the Zaporizhzhia region. In the Kherson direction, more than 15 populated areas, including Novoberyslav, Lvove, Ponyativka, Mykilske, Sadove in the Kherson region and the city of Kherson, were affected by Russian artillery shelling.
