Russian troops’ attacks on the civilian infrastructure in Ukraine During the day, the Russian army conducted 3 missile and 34 aviation strikes, carried out 34 salvos of rocket fire from multiple launch rocket systems on the positions of Ukrainian troops and civilian settlements. Unfortunately, due to the Russian terrorist attacks, there are casualties and injuries among the civilian population. Residential buildings, schools, and other civilian infrastructure have been damaged. The likelihood of missile and aviation strikes across the entire territory of Ukraine remains high. Throughout the day, there were 38 clashes. List of the Russian Federation’s attacks on the Ukrainian territory The operational situation in the Volyn and Polissia directions remains relatively unchanged. In the Siversk and Slobozhansk directions, the Russian army conducted mortar and artillery shelling on more than 25 populated areas. These include Khrinivka, Klyusy in the Chernihiv region; Vilna Sloboda, Khodyne, Simeykyne, Hirkyy in the Sumy region; and Pletenivka, Kruhle, Budarky in the Kharkiv region. In the direction of Kupiansk, Russian artillery and mortar shelling affected the settlements of Dvorichna, Synkivka, Ivanivka, Kyslivka, and Berestove in the Kharkiv region. In the direction of Lyman, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the vicinity of Novoyehorivka in the Luhansk region. It carried out airstrikes in the areas of Novoyehorivka, Tverdokhlibove, Bilohorivka in the Luhansk region, and Spirne in the Donetsk region. More than 15 populated areas experienced Russian artillery shelling, including Karmazynivka, Nevske, Chervonopopivka, Kremenna, Kuzmine, and Dibrova in the Luhansk region. In the Bahkmut direction, Russian troops conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the areas of Orikhovo-Vasylivka and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. They carried out airstrikes in the areas of Klishchiivka, Bila Hora, and New York in the Donetsk region. Over 20 populated areas suffered from Russian artillery shelling, including Vasiukivka, Zaliznianske, Minkivka, Ivanivske, Chasiv Yar, and Klishchiivka in the Donetsk region. In the Avdiivka direction, the Russian army conducted unsuccessful offensive actions in the area of Stepove in the Donetsk region. Populated areas such as Novokalynove, Avdiivka, Orlivka, Sevorne, Pervomaiske, and Nevelske in the Donetsk region were affected by artillery shelling. In the Marinka direction, the Armed Forces of Ukraine continue to deter the advance of Russian troops in the area of Marinka in the Donetsk region. The Russian army conducted an airstrike in the area of Krasnohorivka in the Donetsk region. Populated areas such as Krasnohorivka, Marinka, Pobeda, Novomykhailivka, Kostiantynivka, and Yelyzavetivka in the Donetsk region were affected by artillery shelling. In the Shakhtarsk direction, Russian soldiers conducted airstrikes in the areas of Vuhledar and Staromykhailivka in the Donetsk region. Over 15 populated areas suffered from Russian artillery shelling, including Bohoyavlenka, Novoukrainka, Prechystivka, Vremivka, Blahodatne, and Urozhaine in the Donetsk region. In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the Russian army conducted airstrikes in the areas of Mala Tokmachka, Orikhiv, and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia region. More than 20 populated areas suffered from Russian artillery shelling, including Yablukove, Charivne, Novoandriivka, Lobkove, Kamianske, and Stepnohirsk in the Zaporizhzhia region. In the Kherson direction, the settlements of Olhivka, Odradokamianka, Mykolaivka, Kherson, Yantarne, and Dniprovske in the Kherson region were affected by Russian artillery shelling. Meanwhile, the Ukrainian Armed Forces continue their offensive operation in the Melitopol direction, consolidating their positions at achieved frontlines and conducting counter-battery measures. During the day, the Armed Forces’ aviation carried out 2 strikes on command posts, 10 strikes on personnel concentration areas, and 2 strikes on Russian anti-aircraft missile systems. Rocket and artillery units hit 2 anti-aircraft missile complexes, 1 personnel concentration area, and 4 artillery positions on firing positions of the Russian army throughout the day.
