On May 22 2019, 2 children, 2 Afghan security personnel, and 4 Taliban militants were killed, in addition to 7 civilians and 5 Afghan security personnel who were wounded in Ghazni city. The casualties were caused when a Humvee armed with explosives carrying Taliban militants was hit by a rocket before it reached its target. Taliban claimed killing and injuring 'dozens'.
